After we spent last weekend in Atlanta; Jake and I flew into Indianapolis because the Airtran does not fly into the airport in Louisville. We have been here since Monday and I am not sure what to think about Indianapolis.

The thing about Indianapolis is, If you are trying to find the Interstate don’t count on any Signage. If you happen upon a Sign that offers direction to the Interstate, then expect the On-Ramp to be located on the other side of the street. You will not run into this much because, as a Rule, there aren’t signs posted to follow.

The Good People of Indianapolis hate Sweetened Tea. So, No, They will not make you any. Any Respectable Honky Tonk in the South will have a Pitcher of Sweetened Iced Tea available at all times. This however, is not the case for Indianapolis.

There are so many places to Shop. Downtown alone would take an entire weekend to visit the stores there. After that, there is much more!

So, that’s all I have for right now.

  1. When I lived in L’ville and would travel over into Indiana I hated the roads and especially the interstates. Signage as you mentioned was lacking and the on ramps to the interstates were death ramps. You basically were put directly into the flow of traffic with no merge lanes where you could gain enough speed to enter traffic safely.
Otherwise I thought Indiana to be pretty.

  2. I have the same feelings, I like Indianapolis and Louisville but… I couldn’t live in either place because you have to go out of your way to get on the Interstate. I thought the Interstates in Louisiana were bad, I appreciate them much more now.
